The Cathodes

The Cathodes are a four-piece synth-pop band from the Tameside area of Manchester in the United Kingdom. The band are influenced by the melodies and sounds from the 80s with a small dash of the 60s thrown in. Although a relatively new band (coming up with the name in 2020), all members have extensive past experience playing both live and recording. The Cathodes are on former EMI executive Fred Cannon's label - Creative and Dreams Music Network, LLC®.

Coming Soon!

The new single - "Man In A Suitcase" is scheduled for release on Friday 3rd July. "Man In A Suitcase" is a cinematic, slow-burning tale of betrayal, regret and the emotional baggage we carry through life. Blending atmospheric production with evocative storytelling, the song follows a lone traveller confronting the ghosts of a broken past while searching for a way forward through the darkness.
